Equity Matters

More students are going to college. However, there’s still a large gap in graduation rates. [,]Black and Hispanic students graduate at lower rates than white students. This is often due to challenges like financial stress, social barriers, and academic struggles.[,,] As a result, many students leave college with large student loans but don’t have access to better job opportunities or higher pay.[]
