Preparedness Matters
Emergencies can separate children from their parents or caregivers. Age-appropriate conversations about emergencies are important. It is a good idea to talk about these things before an emergency happens. Talk about ways of being safe and ways to find each other if needed. It is also key to work with partners like childcare centers and schools[]. These partners can help guide children in an emergency.
