Equity Matters
For-profit schools often target communities of color with pushy or misleading ads. These schools tend to leave these communities with a lot of debt and don’t promise better jobs or more money.[] Also, Black, Hispanic, and Asian students often don’t have enough money or help from their parents to pay for college. This puts them at a disadvantage compared to many white students.[]
