In 1982, the United States Supreme Court decided in Plyler v. Doe that it’s against the Constitution to stop children from going to public school because of their immigration status. [,] Even with this ruling, some undocumented students fear Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids and have not signed up for public schools.[]
