Suspensions and Expulsions

When students are suspended or expelled, they are taken out of their classrooms. This cuts down their time in class. It also raises the chances of them failing academically, dropping out of school, getting arrested, and facing violence. In turn, experiencing violence can affect a student’s behavior in school. This can make them more likely to be suspended or expelled.[]
